Patient Portals and Clinical Data
Building a patient portal and data aggregation engine for children in healthcare.
The organisation understood that the 150k patients per annum and their families needed more access to healthcare data, such as upcoming appointments, digital resources, and access to their own clinical data.
The increasing number of apps and remote monitoring devices available on the public consumer market and healthcare market was seen as a missed opportunity for collecting healthcare and non-healthcare data relating to patients to better understand their personalised healthcare needs.
As an advisor to the orgnisation, Kevin led an international porject involving a number of partners and the internal innovation and digital teams, to build a patient portal and a data aggregation engine with data lake to unlock the value of the data for data science and research purposes.
